The Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Global High School initiative allows for a unique opportunity to combine the resources, vision, creativity, and global reach of CRS with the richness, depth, and relevance of the Sisters of Notre Dame (SND) charism and educational vision and principles. The National Education Office’s Advisory Council made it a priority to connect our SND schools across five continents towards a common focus of service specific to the SND charism. We want to stretch our students’ current global perspectives by building a strong sense of solidarity through education on global issues, praying for those in need, and becoming part of the solution. This program strengthens our Catholic identity by engaging the entire school community in the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. Several of our schools have embraced the value of the program and have achieved “Silver” program status including:
- LaReina High School – Thousand Oaks, CA
- Notre Dame Academy – Los Angeles, CA
- Notre Dame Academy – Toledo, OH
- Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School – Chardon, OH
- Notre Dame Academy – Covington, KY
- Clearwater Central Catholic – Clearwater, FL
