Congrats to students at St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Jude the Apostle for a job well done!!

Art can be both beautiful and tell a meaningful story. Just ask the students at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Cleveland, Ohio who recently worked with St. Vitus Post 1655 on a Catholic War Veteran Patriotism Poster Contest. The students immersed themselves in creativity while acknowledging our veterans place in history and their role in preserving democracy. Kudos to the St. Thomas Aquinas School student contest winners and their awesome posters!

And who knew “Legos” could work their way out of the toy store and into the classroom? A firm believer in education, the Lego Company uses their simple plastic blocks to 1). help students design, build, and program robots; 2). apply real-world math and science concepts; 3). research challenges facing today’s scientists and engineers and 4). test critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills.

Teachers and students at St. Jude the Apostle School in Westlake Village, CA proved themselves up to the Lego challenge. And had a great time all along the way. Go Jaguars!!
